Its a little past 2am
My heart has been shattered into a million pieces
Just had the unfortunate experience of watching the most horrifying video
I've heard the stories
Intolerance in Africa
But the video was more than I could bear
Made me look at my people with pure disgust
I sat and bawled my eyes out
Don't care what the prevailing belief is
No one should be persecuted based on sexual orientation
Just breaks my heart
Seeing human life so devalued
Need for an escape from such mentality
