My Dream Come True

Anyone who knew me about 13 years ago

Knew I was a HUGE Hanson fan

Yes

Those "Mmmbop" boys from Tulsa, Oklahoma

I'll never forget that day in Texas when I first heard them

I was getting ready for a wedding

Tv on

I heard the keyboard

Then the singing

Rushed over to watch and was mesmerized

That's when I fell in love

I was the typical pre-teen fan

Posters all over my wall

Had every magazine they appeared in and their book

Sent fan mail (never got a reply)

Fast forward many many years later

What people may not know

Is that I kept on loving them

Listened to each of their cds

(They've got 11!)

But as big of a fan as I was

I had never seen them in concert

So when I learnt that they were coming to Best Buy Theater in Times Square

My heart raced

Bought my ticket

And began counting down the days

The concert

. . .

My pre-teen dream come true

They played ALL the songs I love

(even played mmmbop!)

Just excellent

They rocked out with so much energy

I sang along

I screamed as loud as I would have 13 years ago

My only regret:

Not catching Zac Hanson's drum stick thrown into the crowd!

Yes

I love Hanson

They've got some excellent songs!
