McDonald's Strawberry Lemonade

I did a bad thing

Been almost 4 years since I stepped into McDonald's

But 

Well

It was hot

I was parched

Those flashing golden arches caught my eye

It promised me the most refreshing strawberry lemonade

and all I had to do was walk inside

. . . 

So I did!

I broke my "Say No to Fast (fake) Food" pact

I felt guilty with each step down that long hallway

Leading up to the register

I could have backed out last minute

Could have said "never mind"

Just walked right out

. . .

But 

I got that delicious mix of strawberry syrup and lemon juice

Blended with ice in the sweetest perfection

and yes

It was every thing I could have asked for

At that moment

. . .

*sigh*

Well now I'm addicted

Because it's summer time 

It's hot

And strawberry lemonades are an absolute necessity 

. . .

The sweetest guilty pleasure

. . .
