Turns out that the woman empowering queen of R&B uses smaller designers for her wardrobe selection
I find it admiring that she said no to the big name designers
and gave these smaller ones a chance to shine:

Designed by Leah Rae, still a student at FIT (lucky duck!)
The brainchild behind these hotter than hot heels is 36-year-old Jan Taminiau, a talented Dutch designer
I could never wear any of these but the artistry is absolutely stunning!!
These short shorts were designed by young French designer Julien Fournié
The “deluxe” version of the album features a purple-and-black beaded dress by the 27-year-old French designer Maxime Simoens.
Way to show that you don't have to be the biggest name in the fashion industry to be noticed by the biggest name in the music industry
