So apparently, you can now match your nails to your purse and shoes
According to the NY Post, 40-year-old nail technician Terri Silacci decided to match her nails with her tote after her kids came home with the shedded skin of a 4-foot python.
Four Manhattan salons offer this new technique in nail design "in which hand-cut swatches of snakeskin are applied to the nail bed and sealed between a coat of instant-drying Bio Sculpture Gel base color and a clear top layer"
How much will this cost? Anywhere between $150 - $300 for a mani
And time? About 2.5 hours
For how long? The manicure can last anywhere up to three weeks
Why do I find this procedure absolutely revolting??
Is it just me?
I mean, I really HATE snakes
But I don't mind snakeskin on bags and shoes
But this nail thing..
No way jose!
(I say that now... we'll see if I change my mind)
