Teenage Dream

A little secret

A few summers ago I sat on the metro in DC and watched as a group of teenagers walked in.

loud, eating on the metro (which isnt allowed in DC...), cracking jokes, dancing around

basically drawing as much attention as they possibly could

and feeling cooler than cool doing it

I was completely amused

their demeanor

their i'm-too-cool-dont-mess-with-me-i-aint-scared-of-nothin' attitude

Such a precious stage when you're young and discovering yourself, others and life.

I thought of designing a collection inspired by them

and then... years later, I was finally given the opportunity...

kind of...

well, my drawing 2 final was to design a collection for a teenage customer

yay!!! i was kinda excited

and... as much anxiety as i get from drawing (drawing is my weakness... i'm not the best but getting there....) I had tons of fun on this collection

Simple

Jersey, denim and cotton

I like it...

we'll see how I feel after color is added....

and

...

this will officially be my last fashion school project

...

don't really know how i feel about that

where did the time go???!!!???
